Sadie
Thanks for taking the time to give Sadie the attention she has so desperately wanted!
Sadie is normally a little shy, but she insisted I help her show her more playful side this time.
“I want bright, and I want to stand out!!” she begged in a fashion that is quite unusual for her.
“I’m happy to oblige,” I responded understanding no one likes to be overlooked, “but I do need to make sure you still have the basics.”

Sammy
“A girl or a boy?” I asked the happy little giraffe on the front.
“What do you mean?” Sammy looked back at me quizzically.
“Are you for a girl or boy?” I asked having a hard time telling what exactly Sammy was for.
“Both!” Sammy responded with a tone that seemed a little offended. “My name is Sammy after all!”
“I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to offend you” I quickly stated with an apologetic tone “It’s what’s on the inside that that really matters anyway” I added trying to make up for my previous faux pas.

WSU Craft Fair
Best of all, I had so much fun sharing the experience with Lacey from strawberrypearl!
My very talented mom, owner of Sycamore Shades, made this apron for me to wear at the fair...beaded pocket, handmade ribbon flower, and all! If you think this is great, you should see her lampshades! Check them out in downtown Spokane at Revival Lighting or in LaConner, WA near Seattle at Mary Davis Lighting.

Bertie
Thanks for noticing my new little friend!
Just as I was adding the last finishing touch of blue ribbon, a little robot rolled right out front and center on this book. He might have gone unnoticed if it weren’t for the little dog tagging along that loves to bark!
“What are you doing here?” I asked surprised at the sheer blissfulness at which he seemed to do everything.
“My name is Bertie, and I’m just rolling through” he said with great delight. His joy seemed to be contagious, and I could tell he must really be someone that is fun to have for company.
“Would you stay longer?” I asked, “After all, it is very plain and boring when you’re not around.”
“I would love to stay!!” he was excited at the chance to do something new, “but what will I do?”
“You just roll around and play with your little dog, and I can do the rest!” I answered so excited he accepted my invitation.
